Hi All, We have been experiencing 10+ hours of downtime because Amazon EC2 is having datacenter issues with the region where our servers are located (US East, N Virginia). They have been extremely unhelpful and have only provided information on their "service health page" here (which doesn't show an ETA when service will resume): status.aws.amazon.com/Unfortunately, this affects AdFoc.us service and our shortened links. We thought that choosing Amazon would give us 99.95% uptime in a year (which is only 4 hours of downtime in a YEAR, not 10+) like they guarantee in their SLA, but this has been a shocking event that is really frustrating. We are considering moving service providers if this becomes a consistent problem. Very sorry for the inconvenience and lost earnings. We hope our service will come back online very soon Sincerely, AdFoc.us

Thanks for keeping us updated. I had feared something happened to the site.

Well...now I know not to use any servers from Amazon. This is ridiculous, you deserve a refund by now.

Just a quick update. We've been down for almost 48 hours. Here's our plan for the next week: - Server will go online in the next 2-3 hours - Return functionality to all AdFoc.us services (login panel, all links activated) - If we receive compensation from Amazon, we'll be calculated lost earnings for ALL of our users and credit everyone's next payment - Backup servers and create emergency plan so this never happens again Again, we apologize for the inconvenience Amazon has caused our service. Will update soon
